Start your day with a serene boat ride on the Ganges as the sun rises over the holy city. This tranquil experience provides a spectacular view of the morning rituals and the ancient architecture of Varanasi's ghats.

on the Ganges

  • Pick-up: Meet at your hotel at 5:00 AM during summer months and at 5:30 AM during winter months to ensure you are on the boat and ready to experience the sunrise. Depart on foot or by rickshaw (depending on the location of your hotel) to reach the Ganges at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

    Boat departure: The boat ride begins at 5:15 AM in summer just as the sun starts to rise, and at 6:15 AM in winter, timed to catch the first light of day.

    Boat ride: The boat ride lasts for approximately 1 hour.

  • Ensure you wear warm clothing as it can be quite chilly in the morning, especially before the sun rises.
